Kurt was born and grew up in Torrance, California, before moving to to Oklahoma in July of 1977.

 

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1983 and then surrendered to the gospel ministry in 1985 and was ordained in 1991. He has pastored various churches for the past 28 years before being called to ministry at FBC Cole.

 

He and his wife Linda have been married for 32 years and have two sons Michael (30) and Josiah (25).
